Environmental Statement - Unit Pallets Limited | |
Unit Pallets Limited, as one of the world's leading manufacturers of timber pallets, takes its environmental responsibilites very seriously and pledges its continuing commitment to environmentally safe working practices.
Timber pallets are an extremely environmental choice due to the Carbon content in the timber, and the ability to recover, repair, re-use and recycle timber pallets is an important aspect of this.
Unit Pallets concentration on supplying and repairing commercial and company pallet pools is especially environmentally responsible.
In addition to this Timcon, the Timber Trade Federation, has developed a Carbon calculator which clearly demonstrates the negative Carbon Footprint of all specifications of timber pallets – (www.timcon.org)
Unit Pallets sales staff can provide a calculation of the Carbon Footprint for any chosen specification of timber pallet.
